This weeks hole is the 11th. The 11th should be a straight forward hole, dead straight and 350 yds. However a hogs back fairway and a green that slopes from front to back makes it play more difficult. This time of year when it gets firmer we should take less club off of the tee and make the most of the run you will get. I always advise golfers to hit a club that carries to the front of the fairway. From there it should run out and leave you with fairly straight forward approach.
Again aim for the front of the green and let the contours do the work for you. When the flag is at the front of the green don't be greedy and leave it short. slightly long is better than slightly short.
Short Game Masterclass
