16th Hole The 16th can catch many out with its tight right to left dog leg and out of bounds right. Take 1 or two more clubs than you hit on the 15th e.g. If you hit a 4 iron on 15 then take a three iron or hybrid(advice I've taken from Hugh Turley). This will help you get enough to get to the corner. If you're in position off the tee then select your second shot carefully. Anything going over the bunker will probably end up at the back of the green. If you have a good angle to the flag then get a yardage to carry it level with the bunker. It'll feed down nicely to the middle of the green from there. Take your two putts and move on. |
