Winter league competition
The end of July is not a good time to be thinking of the winter, but I'm afraid it will soon be here. This year though you will still be able to get your golf fix in a completely new and exciting way! From October we will be hosting our inaugural 'winter league competition'. The swing studio will be warm and dry and the beers will be nice and cold! It will be a fun, competitive foursomes stableford competition run on several of the courses on the simulator, including Gleneagles, Beth Page, Bay Hill and many more. We hope to run a 5-7pm and also a 7-9pm slot with 18 holes will be played each week. The first 9 is a warm up and the second 9 is the scoring 9. Each back 9 score from each course will be added to the leaderboard. Each course will be available to be played twice, so you can try to improve on a score if you'd like to but also means you can miss some weeks. The best 8 teams after all the courses have been played will be in the grand final playing off for the top spot. I'd really like to put on some top prizes for this but need as much support as possible for it to run and become a success. So get yourself a partner and some other friends and sign up in the shop. This is an open competition so members can invite any friends (with H/caps) along to play.
Rules for the winter league: - Stableford format
- Half combined handicaps
- Men's tee (pro) ladies tee (ladies)

- Putting will be based on distance to the hole.

- If you've had too many to score you 'pick up'
