Last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour might seem like an ordinary event on the surface, but it has one particular aspect that no other event comes anywhere near to.

Short game masterclass

I have had a great response so far to the upcoming short game classes and there are still plenty of a spaces available. See below for full details:

Chipping masterclass 9.30-11.30am

After a wet winter our short game technique often suffers due to the inconsistent lies we get around the greens. Sometimes it’s hard to decipher whether it’s your technique, the conditions or both. Once you lose confidence in you short game it’s very hard to score well. I’ll make sure you are clear on what you need to do to have a simple and effective short game. We will cover a variety of shots and different lies.

Perfect Putting Session 1-3pm

Putting becomes a lottery in the winter, from temporary greens to bobbling putts. I will use the trackman putting data to let you know what you’re actually doing. You will learn what line you start your putts, improve your putting tempo, learn to control the pace of your long putts and hole out from short range better.
